Write a letter containing a secret message, then swap with others here or in person.

Can you decode each other's messages? Or will you be left flummoxed by the mysterious symbols that grace the page?

Use as a stand-alone puzzle, or modify to use in an existing RPG using your own characters and setting. Once you've got a feel for how it works, you have the tools to write your own letters that live in the world of your character, perhaps written on parchment, in a magic tome,  hidden in the margins of a set of instructions, or in the source code of a technomagic gizmo.
